| Society & Animals Forum launched the Human-Animal Studies listserv in October, 2003. The listserv is dedicated to the scholarly discussion of anything pertaining to the multi-disciplinary field of human-animal studies. Sponsored by Society & Animals Forum, the list is open to any scholar (faculty, graduate or undergraduate student or unaffiliated writer or researcher) with an interest in expanding the field of human-animal studies.
News, conference announcements, calls for papers, discussion of research and theory, support and resources for teaching or research, and other related topics are encouraged. We welcome contributions from anthropologists, sociologists, psychologists, philosophers, literary scholars, historians, biologists, ethologists, and other academics who are interested in furthering this new field.
